Taking over from the Queen was particularly challenging for Prince Charles because it not only marked the end of her historic reign but also signified the personal loss of his beloved mother.
The immense responsibility of upholding the monarchy’s legacy weighed heavily on him, adding to his grief.
As he stepped into his new role, the eyes of the world were upon him, scrutinizing every move he made.
