Did we know that it would be our Last Embrace? Our union was saturated and vibrant, energising, lively, exuberant and playful. And yet it ebbed away.

Our personalities were jarring, attention seeking, but at the same time, exciting and surprising. Bold, non-conforming and rejecting traditional life. Inevitably, rejecting each other.

Our energy was contrasting and yet harmonising through intensity and brightness then discordant, discomforted and tense as was our friendship.

We built an unnatural, surreal world, detached from reality. And the reality now … yes we knew.
